How do I update my site?
Your website is constructed using DNN CMS Portals, which is "geek talk" for a website which is made using a database and templates, wtih the ability to update directly through the website. This means you don't need special software, and all you need is basic knowledge of how to use a computer. For those who are more advanced, you'll find the flexibility is there for you to get a little fancy.
Where is my website?
Your website will be set up on our shared server, with the temporary address of www.akweb.com.au[WebsiteName unless you specify that you'd like to have your own domain name. You'll be provided with 80Mb of storage space, which should be plenty for a shop or image gallery attached to a standard website. More space is available on request.
Can I move my website?
You can purchase full hosting and move the website to your own account. By doing this you will get full access to the site and all the files (although not the raw photoshop files). Additional licencing fees may apply for the transfer.
Are there Restrictions?
Websites will be randomly reviewed for content, so keep it clean and relevant. We're not prudes, but we'd rather not offend the general public. Please read the Terms & Conditions for full details.
How many pages can I have?
You will be provided with the home page, about, services and contact pages with your template. But these pages will only have placeholder text, ready for you to add your own personal touch. You can add as many additional pages as you like, up to your storage space provided with your rental/hosting plan.
If you have chosen additional website features (such as gallery), these pages will also be provided with placeholder text.
What if I don't have a logo?
If you don't have a logo, we can design one for you. Please see the branding options available at www.andyk.com.au If you don't want a custom designed logo, then your business name will be added to the banner as attractive text to match the style of the template.
Do I get the exact template & images for my website?
Kind of... If you don't choose a colour change, your website will look almost identical to the template you've chosen. Due to copyright reasons, we can't use the actual images from the template, so the banner images will be changed to suit your business. You can provide your own images if you like, but please make sure you have the right to use them. (Images found on Google are not Copyright free). What type of images can I use?

It is your responsibility to add images to the rest of the website, although assistance can be provided. (see options)
