Step by Step

1.	Pick a "look" for your new website from the template store. Feel free to window shop. Then follow the steps to choose additional options to personalise your website.

2.	Our Designer will setup your site This isn't automatic. Usually it'll take about a week, but you'll be contacted almost straight away for images, content and your logo.
3.	Instructions will be sent through Once the site is ready, you'll be sent some instructions on how to update your website. Don't panic... you won't need an IT degree. If you decide you need some personal training, then revisit the shop and purchase that option also.
4.	Add your photos & specs Now you can start playing with your website. It's virtually unbreakable. But we are always available for questions and support.
5.	Tell your friends Don't keep it a secret. Tell everyone where to find your website. Get feedback.

How do I update my site?

Your website is constructed using DNN CMS Portals, which is "geek talk" for a website which is made using a database and templates, wtih the ability to update directly through the website. This means you don't need special software, and all you need is basic knowledge of how to use a computer. For those who are more advanced, you'll find the flexibility is there for you to get a little fancy.

Where is my website?

Your website will be set up on our shared server, with the temporary address of www.akweb.com.au[WebsiteName unless you specify that you'd like to have your own domain name. You'll be provided with 80Mb of storage space, which should be plenty for a shop or image gallery attached to a standard website. More space is available on request.

Can I move my website?

You can purchase full hosting and move the website to your own account. By doing this you will get full access to the site and all the files (although not the raw photoshop files). Additional licencing fees may apply for the transfer.

How long will it take?

Once you're order has been processed, it'll take about a week for any design changes, then about a week for the website to be created, ready for you to start entering content.

How much is it?

A starting price of $300, which provides a complete and cheap websites. Additional features may increase the final price. You'll also be charged a monthly rental of $10 for your hosting space.
